Welcome to These Spindrift Pages, my long-overdue blog.

In the world of work, I am an editor, but beyond this I am also (amongst other things) a writer, a fledgling florist, a music fan, a reader, a baker, a sometime runner – and a thinker!

This blog is an attempt to better honour my various selves, to explore all the many things I am interested in and nurture and develop my writing. To perhaps grapple with some big questions in conjunction with – and sometimes through – more everyday, tangible things. To explore my ongoing evolving relationship with nature and being linked with the cycling seasons and the grounded world around me. To consider questions around different tensions and balance in life, and share reflections on the details and patterns, thoughts and interests that make up my experience of being a human. To gain confidence in my voice, and hopefully connection with others, too.

As an often private person, sharing myself truthfully though writing is a courageous act. My aim is to create pieces that are thought-provoking and support deep thinking, that offer encouragement to reflect and space to consider different parts of ourselves.

Thank you for reading, I appreciate it!
